Its strange how I feel so connected to a stranger I've never known, but perhaps have crossed paths with in life. She could have been that lady sitting at the next table at Starbucks last month, or the lady I had passed on the street, or the lady that I accidentally bumped into while negotiating the office crowd at the CBD. I didn't know her personally, but I am so affected by the news of her tragedy. My heart sank when I heard the news, when I heard it was one of us. It sank even further when I saw her smiling picture, and learned of the beautiful life she led. I picked up a copy of the Today paper before boarding the train and upon seeing the picture of her husband crying uncontrollably beside her casket, my tears started flowing down and here I was, a stranger, standing in a crowded train cabin crying for her, crying for her husband, crying for her family & friends. I can only imagine their grief. Their beautiful wife, daughter, sister, friend, had been cruelly taken away from them. I cried in the train, I cried walking to my office, I cried when I reached the office, I cried at lunchtime, I cried on the way to meet my mum & aunts at Little India, and I cried upon seeing their faces. And I cried especially when hearing the fiance's voice. It really really saddens me to think that she & her husband had just gotten married last year, and was just beginning to enjoy this bliss called life. I can't. I just can't. I can't imagine. The pain, sorrow & grief her husband must be going thru losing his wife. His wife. The person he had promised to have & to honour, to love & to hold, in sickness & in health, till death do they part.

Dearest Beautiful Stranger, you will forever be in my heart, mind, & prayers. You have taught me to appreciate everything & everyone I have in my life & not take anyone for granted. Cos you never know when you might not see them ever again.

Let me shed light on why I am wide awake at the 0717H in the morning of Deepavali. A bloody holiday at that! Oh, and I would like to add that I barely slept a wink! Wanna know why? I'm blaming my greediness, my ever so sensitive tummy, and my arsehole. Yes, I ate like an OINK last night. Stuffing my face left, right, and center! In fact, I can't even remember half the things I stuffed down my throat yesterday. And I've been suffering from food poisoning all thru the night. I swear my tummy, intestines, and asshole have weekly meetings to plot against me. Which normal being has food poisoning every single week?? My tummy's spinning like a washing machine now and I'll probably need to get my ass to a toilet bowl in about...5 minutes. I just hope that I don't give my mom a scare when she wakes up. Won't be a surprise if she wakes up and finds her only daughter asleep on the toilet bowl! This shit is killing me!!! (no pun intended). I NEED TO SLEEEEEEP!!!!

There's just so many things that I have to do that hasn't been done.
Can't even find the time to post pics of the fiance's bday celebration.
Feeling really f'd up and weak due to Bloody Mary. Damn you Bloody Mary!
I mean seriously! Isn't the mother-of-god-i'm-gonna-die painful cramps, heavy heavy bleeding, and the ever so horrible VPL enough?? Now you got to mess with my emotions too?? I've been crying like a delusional psychologically impaired hysterical woman since yesterday for no god damn good reason at all. Oh Bloody Mary, you should have known by now that not everyone has the patience to tolerate this madness. I swear the fiance was getting ready to plop me down on the dining table and perform an emergency op to rid me of my damn womb/ovaries/fallopian tubes (you get my drift). I cried watching T.I's Whatever you like video and last I checked, the song and video were about money, cash, car, and hoes! WTFH. Excuse me while I go cry over Chris Rock.

The day started with me surprising the fiance at his crib while he was sleeping after coming home from the night shift. Armed with my super sized card, prezzie, party hats, and blueberry cheesecake, I burst into his room (with the help of SIL) and birthday songs were sung, candles were blown, & gifts were gifted. And boy, surprise him I did! The fiance was really amazed by the super size card and was ecstatic with the lil surprise I got him. Phew.

We did not want the typical bday celebration where me & him would dress up and have dinner at a hotel. Though that has been our bday ritual yearly. We decided to have things a lil different this year. No fancy dresses. No posh restaurant. Just me & him on the SG FLYER. And for dinner?? POPEYES!!!

After the simple yet orgasmic dinner, we decided to walk to the Merlion. We did not realize how freaking far it was till we reached the bridge. What he didn't know was that another surprise awaited him.. The surprise was a tad late but it was all good cos me and the fiance got to talking and we realised that we haven't really had the chance to talk cos of our busy schedules. Had a really great time at the Merlion and we had a blast pretending to be lost indian tourists. Hee!

Finally! The Surprise! Didi & Alin bought the fiance an ice cream cake from GELARE and the four of us stuffed ourself silly! Had a nice time joking & goofing around with the future BIL & SIL. Happy Birthday to Alin too! Her bday is the next day. Filled to the brim with chocolate, we headed home.

And the day ended with yet another surprise for the fiance when he sent me home. Mom surprised him with a brownie cake at our doorstep!

I've just received a call from my elder brother saying that his biological mother (we are of different mothers but share the same father) is hanging on to her life at the hospital and doctors are telling the family to prepare for the worst as she may not make it through the night. She has cancer. I feel so helpless as my brother forbids me from coming down to the hospital as I have work early tomorrow and he says that he'll be ok and he'll keep in touch if anything happens. Oh, i just had the greatest day!
My day started out with the fiance
coming over for a simple lunch with
the parentals. We cudnt stop laughing
at mom's forgetfulness. : )

So in l.o.v.e.

Nothing at Junction 8 caught our eyes so...
we indulged in Haagen Daaz ice cream instead..

The midnight cookies & cream was HEAVEN.

AMK Hub on the other hand, was a whole different
story. A whole bunch of things caught my eyes but
I decided to get that pair of shoes that had me
at first glance. But oh no, that wasnt enough,
the fiance told me to choose another pair and
paid for both pair of shoes. And he spoilt me
silly with two new tops too. : )
I luv luv luv my new shoes and my new tops.
And the new nail colour too.

We then hopped down to the basement
where the fiance went gaga and bought
himself new pillows, new bedsheets, and
a whole lot of snacks! Next stop was
McD's for a simple cosy dinner.

I cant believe my 3 days is coming to an end.
I have to slap myself to see if I'm still here,
in the real world. Yeah, I am.
How fast does 3 days pass by man..?
Gosh, the only thing I accomplished was
fighting with the fiance non stop.

My emotions are going CRAZY.

I'm down with sore eyes.

Boo Hoo.

My eyes and face are swollen beyond recognition.

Even the bloody nurse at the clinic laughed at me

when she looked at my face.

I couldnt even see through my eyes this morning

cos it was that swollen and so I lumbered all the way

to the clinic and lumbered and stumbled all the way back.

The doctor gave me 3 days off from work and told me to

come back if after the 3 days, my eyes are still not healed.

He said that my sore eyes was severe. SEVERE!

Oh double boo hoo.

Thanks to Love and family for passing on the sore eyes.

Yes, his whole family is infected with sore eyes and now ME.

It really hurts..... *cries.*

And to add salt to my wounds, my tummy & asshole

is not being nice to me.

So i was having a fag at the toilet of my office

building with my new friend Rina (she's a secretary

at a law firm a few doors away from my office) when

I had to answer nature's call. And when I stepped

out from the cubicle, I thought I heard Rina ask me :

Thinking she meant how I actually clean myself

after peeing, I proceeded in great detail to tell

her how I actually do it when I realised that she

was laughing her ass off. And do you know why??

Cos the question that she actually asked me was :

Our day started at 6am.

Love, had an early appointment with the

doctor and my poor baby had to go thru tests

after tests to ensure there are no complications

for his upcoming operation. Kecian laki aku..

We were at AMK's Mcdonalds having breakfast

by 7.30am and were at the hospital by 9am.

Being the crappy person that he is in the morning,

Love did not want his picture taken. But i took

one anyway.. Without his knowledge of course!

By the way, Love had to get his blood drawn TWICE.
